In March 2019, we launched the app KSOPlay, which was packed with concert music. With KSOPlay on their mobile phones, audiences could take the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra right home with them and choose music themselves from the orchestra’s extensive repertoire. KSOPlay has been taken out of rotation for the time being, but work is underway to launch a new and improved solution for multiple platforms in 2024.

The launch of Kilden (2013) was linked to the Kristiansand Kulturrullator project, which aims to strengthen “cultural care” in the municipality. In 2016, an agreement was signed with the Municipality of Kristiansand regarding regular direct funding to institutions, and we are in the process of expanding into other municipalities in Agder.
