Kilden Teater med bibliotekbesøk i januar

Kilden Teater skal i januar besøke flere biblioteker i regionen for å snakke om årets to første premierer, Eg er vinden av Jon Fosse og Idioten av Fjodor Dostojevskij. Allerede 10. januar står Arendal bibliotek for tur.

“We are a theater for the entire region, and these library visits ahead of our upcoming performances allow us to engage with the local audience and give them some points of reference for the show. Hopefully, this will spark an interest in both the play and theater in general,” says Valborg Frøysnes, artistic director at Kilden .

She will be bringing one of the two actors from Jon Fosse’s *Eg er vinden* —Henrik Rafaelsen—to the Arendal Library on January 10, and the other, Morten Espeland, to the Grimstad Library on January 12. They will discuss the production and the body of work by Jon Fosse, one of the world’s most frequently performed contemporary playwrights.

Presence in the region

On January 19, Frøysnes will visit the Lindesnes libraries in Buen, Mandal, where she will speak with Louise Pariggi, while Einar Duenger Bøhn, a philosophy professor at the University of Agder, and David Holme from Kilden will visit the Froland Public Library on the same day. The latter event will focus on Fyodor Dostoevsky’s The Idiot. All library visits are part of Kilden i Agder.
