Get ready for Palmesus Classics in November
On November 12 and 13, the second edition of Palmesus Classics will take place at Kilden. It promises to be a star-studded weekend, with artists such as Gabrielle, Timbuktu, and Julie Bergan taking the stage alongside the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra.
Tshawe from Madcon, Isah, and Raylee, as well as JCY member Patski Love, will also be coming to Kristiansand in November. Christine Dancke will serve as the emcee, while Lars Erik Gudim will conduct.
Geir Rebbestad, director of the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, is looking forward to building on last year’s success. That was the first time Palmesus Classics was held at Kilden.
“A lot of the musicians thought this was a fun experience last time, and I think we’re in for a fantastic weekend in November,” says Rebbestad.
Music and Modern Art
The pieces being performed have been arranged by four different Norwegian composers, and the original artists behind the songs are world-renowned names such as Adele, David Guetta, Beyoncé, Michael Jackson, and Daft Punk.
Once again this year, the Sørlandet Art Museum is a partner, and a digital show where music meets modern art will be presented on LED screens.
