Dialogue
Kilden is a center of excellence for participatory art and social practice. We challenge traditional notions of what art can be within a professional performing arts centre.
Through our projects, we aim to include and highlight amateurs and marginalized groups. At Kilden , they Kilden have the opportunity to explore our resources—and showcase their talents through theater, dance, song, and music. Often in collaboration with the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra and Kilden .
When people have the opportunity to experience professional artistic productions, it can leave a lasting impression, both on individuals and on society. That is why we use art as a forum for dialogue and democracy.
