KSO til Vennesla og Mandal

Kristiansand Symfoniorkester (KSO) tar turen til Vennesla for første gang siden Kilden ble etablert da de i mars spiller tre ønskekonserter på tre dager på tre ulike steder i Agder.

– Vi har gått ut med at vi skal være mer representert ute i regionen, og da føles det ekstra gøy å kunne annonsere at orkesteret for første gang på så mange år skal spille i vår nabokommune, Vennesla. Vi er selvsagt også glade for å få kunne komme til Mandal i år, sier administrerende direktør i Kilden teater og konserthus, Harald Furre.

Feather in the cap

The concert will take place in the PM5 auditorium in Hunsfos Business Park on Thursday, March 18. Agnar Espegren of Hunsfos Business Park is delighted that the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra will be playing in Vennesla, and in the middle of what is a major part of modern Vennesla's identity, Hunsfos Fabrikker:

Just the thought of a full symphony orchestra playing a concert right here was completely unthinkable just a few years ago. Now it's a reality.

Three wish concerts

KSO will be visiting its neighboring village in the north as one of three wish concerts in collaboration with Fædrelandsvennen already in March. At these concerts, the audience can decide in advance what the orchestra will perform, and these have been very popular since the concert collaboration was established with Fædrelandsvennen at the turn of the millennium.

Foruten Vennesla blir det konserter i Kilden teater og konserthus onsdag 17. mars og i Buen Kulturhus i Mandal fredag 19. mars.
