Magical unicorns in the cityscape

Celebrate Skeive Sørlandsdager 2022 with Kilden! We’re adding some color to the cityscape with giant magical unicorns, a karaoke party at Bekskjæret outside Kilden rainbow cupcakes on the menu.

This coming Friday, August 26, there’s every reason to bring your family and friends to the town square in Kristiansand. At 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., you can watch two magical unicorns dancing and prancing through the city streets. It’s just as much fun for grandma and grandpa as it is for the family’s furry friend. It’s a fantastic show for all ages, lasting about 25 minutes.

The Karaoke Cat

Continue the celebration at Bekskjæret outside Kilden Beauty, the 5-meter-long karaoke cat! Sing offbeat classics out over the sea in good company, and enjoy a snack basket with Pride cupcakes. Kaja Haven is the one behind the design and construction of this pink sphinx-like cat with a karaoke machine in its belly.

Later this fall, we invite you to a queer evening whereKilden will present a staged reading featuring excerpts from the groundbreaking and rebellious 1979 novel *Villskudd*. Join us for a meet-the-author session with Gudmund Vindsun and a reading of his queer classic!
