Eir Inderhaug

Eir Inderhaug has established herself as one of Norway’s leading singers and is making a name for herself on opera stages across Europe. For her roles as Gepopo and Venus in Le grand macabre , she was awarded the 2014 Critics’ Prize. At DNO&B, she has also performed as Adele in The Bat, Rosina in The Barber of Seville, Despina in Cosí fan tutte and the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute. She has performed at opera houses such as the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen, the Bavarian State Opera, Theater Bremen, and the Gothenburg Opera, and has been a regular soloist at the Nuremberg State Opera and the Deutsche Oper am Rhein.

Eir has performed Kilden numerous occasions. Among other things, she enjoyed great success with her solo performance I AM Lucia, for which she herself was responsible for the concept, script, and music selection. The performance was also shown at DNO&B and in Trondheim. She also played the role of Maria in Kilden’s production of The Sound of Music. 

Eir Inderhaug is also known for her portrayal of Gudrun in The Play of Saint Olav, and has sung the role of Solveig in Peer Gynt at Gålå, and has sung on several CD recordings, including Okkenhaug’s “Eg veit ei lita jente.”
