Eva B. Landro
Eva B. Landro lives in Nesodden and is a graduate of the Norwegian Academy of Music and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” in Leipzig.
Eva has appeared in roles such as the Second Lady in *The Magic Flute* at the Oslo Opera Festival, Sesto in *La clemenza di Tito* at Scene 2 at the Norwegian Opera and Ballet, and the First Witch and ensemble member in *Dido and Aeneas* with Barokksolistene at Den Ny Opera in Esbjerg.
Eva has a particular fondness for chamber music and has created and performed several of her own projects and lied recitals, including the concert narrative *Saints, Cigars, and Passion*, which toured with Rikskonsertene in Hedmark and Kulturkirken Jakob in Oslo; *Stenhammar at Fjellhamar*, about the local history of Lørenskog; and a recital organized by the Bergen National Opera. This spring, she will tour southern Norway with Musikkens venner, presenting a program centered on the poet William Blake, together with Torunn Irene Kristensen and Margrete Moen Birkedal.
She frequently performs as a soloist in church music works and has sung with ensembles such as Barokkanerne, Trondheim Barokk, KORK, the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Oslo Cathedral Choir, the Nidaros Cathedral Choir, the Hamar Cathedral Choir, the Oslo Chorale Society, and Collegium Musicum. In addition, Eva has performed regularly with professional ensembles such as the RIAS Kammerchor in Berlin, the Oslo Opera Chorus, and the Trondheim Vocal Ensemble, as well as serving for many years as a regular singer with the Norwegian Soloists’ Choir and holding a permanent position as first alto with the Edvard Grieg Vocal Ensemble; in the latter, she was able to channel her passion for new music by initiating and carrying out a collaboration with the composition students at the Grieg Academy.
