Marthe Westgaard

Marthe Westgaard trained as a dancer and ballet teacher at the Norwegian National Academy of Ballet (KHiO) from 2001 to 2005, specializing in classical ballet. She has extensive experience as a teacher and has taught at institutions such as the Norwegian Ballet Institute and Torild Frostad Dance Studio. In 2010, she founded Spinn Dance Studio in Kristiansand. Through Spinn Dance Studio, she has choreographed for, among others, Dyreparken (stage and YouTube), KBUT, Palmesus Jr., and most recently for Herman Flesvig at Palmesus. 

As a dancer, she has appeared in the National Theater’s production of *West Side Story* and played one of the leading roles in Sola Kulturhus’s production of the musical *Fame*. Locally, she is known as the “Princess of Herli’s Land” at Kristiansand Zoo. 

Marthe is a member of the Bethlehem Children’s Group and began as a village child in the early 1990s. She has since played the roles of the lead angel and a slave, and in recent years has served as a choreographer.
