Sanna Dembowski
Set Designer/Costume Designer
Sanna Dembowski is from Munich, Germany, and studied at the Staatliche Akademie der Künste in Stuttgart, where she completed her studies in costume design and set design in 1994. She completed her studies in theater studies at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich in 2019.
Sanna was employed at the Kammerspiele in Munich from 1994 to 1996 and at the Bavarian State Opera from 1997 to 1998, before beginning her career as a freelance designer in 1999.
Sanna has worked on several major theater productions:*Don Carlos* in Frankfurt, *Hamlet* and *Thyestes* in Mannheim, *Faust I* and *Faust II* in Weimar and Cologne, *The Merchant of Venice*and *Woyzeck* in Hamburg, *The Picture of Dorian Gray* and *Children of Olympus* in Munich, *Così fan tutte* in Bremen, Amphitryon and Antigone in Stuttgart, Edward II in Vienna, The Idle Hour and A Doll’s House in Oslo, andThe Indecisive in Aarhus.
