Tonje Sannes

Tonje Sannes is from Larvik but has lived and worked in Kristiansand since 2016. Tonje trained as a dancer at the Bårdar Academy’s three-year dance program and holds a bachelor’s degree in child welfare education from Oslo Met.

Tonje is the owner and founder of the performing arts company Spektra, which produces and creates interdisciplinary productions in the fields of performing arts and dance in Kristiansand. In addition to serving as the creative force and producer, Tonje also performs in Spektra’s productions. Among these, Helix: The Hanging Garden (2023),Medusa: Lullaby of the Sea(2022), andCircus Princess (2019) have all been presented atperforming arts centre Kilden performing arts centre. Tonje has also appeared in *Me, Myself, and I*and*Hjerter i Papir*, whichwere performed during the Søar Festival at Kilden 2021 and 2022, as well as the musical*Valentin*, whichwas staged in Fjærheia in 2018.

Tonje has toured extensively throughout Norway with DKS, both in Spektra productions and as a dancer in other projects, and received the Kristiansand Municipality Artist Grant in 2020 and 2024.

Tonje is currently working on the production *Klagesangen*, which will premiere at Kilden in January 2025. Tonje conceived the project and serves as its project manager, choreographer, and dancer.
