Valborg Frøysnes trained as an actress at Rose Bruford College in London and holds a master’s degree in Theater Studies from the University of Frankfurt am Main in Germany. She was previously a permanent member of the company at Teatret Vårt in Molde until 2014.
Frøysnes has also worked as a freelance actor in Oslo for several years, including at Det Norske Teatret, Dramatikkens hus, and with the performing arts group Susie Wang, which won the Critics’ Award in 2019 for the production *Mumiebrun*. In 2020, Frøysnes took over as artistic director at Kilden .
