Eric Idle—comedian, former Monty Python member, and creator of the musical *Spamalot*—is coming to Kilden Kristiansand!

Comedy, music, sing-alongs, philosophy—and one fart joke. Comedy legend Eric Idle takes the stage at Kilden for the first—and, according to him, probably the last—time. This will be an evening full of original songs, irreverent humor, and unforgettable stories.

With his virtual band (also known as the Infinite Monkees Cage), Idle brings to life a show filled with signature songs—including “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life”—plus musical tributes to friends like George Harrison and Robin Williams, plus a tribute to The Rutles, the world’s first mockumentary about “the pre-fab four: Dirk, Nasty, Stig, and Barry,” plus new interpretations of Spamalot classics.

The show also reveals how he accidentally ended up in the world of comedy in 1963 and has never managed to get out of it. “Unfortunately, I can’t find the exit,” says Eric Idle. “My role in life seems to be cheering people up.”

“Always Look on the Bright Side of Life,” which is also the title of his best-selling “Sortabiography,” has been the most requested song at British funerals for over twenty years.

This live show blends hilarious comedy with unexpectedly touching moments, and is part concert, part memoir, and 100% Eric Idle.

Whether you’re a lifelong fan or just need a brilliant night out, this is a rare chance to experience the music and wit of a comedy icon.
