The other has traveled far and wide, drawing laughter on stages both high and low across our long, narrow country, all while dominating social media with his warm humor drawn from local newspapers. What they both have in common is that they love Norway—for better or for worse.
Ken André Ottesen, also known as BAdesKen, is the local guy and newspaperman who found an outlet for his interest in local news on Instagram. He has one of Norway’s largest followings on social media, and his followers get daily snippets of everything happening across our wonderful country. For over two years, he has been touring with the show “Yes, We Love This Country.”
Rune Nilson is the man behind a voice you’ve surely heard before. He has hosted some of Norway’s biggest radio hits in recent years, including Lønsj, Kolafei, and Landsmøte on P1. He has also hosted both Sommeråpent and Ikke gjør dette hjemme on NRK1. Through his interactions with listeners, he has learned a great deal about the Norwegian national character—not to mention that he’s a master of Norwegian dialects.
