Ane Brun is finally back at Kilden!
This spring, Ane Brun is embarking on an extensive Nordic tour with concerts in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. The tour follows the release of her new studio album,*I Thought We Were The Same*, which is her first album of new material in six years.
Thanks to her unique position—having both Sweden and Norway as her home countries—she has garnered recognition on both sides of the border. Among her awards are two Swedish Grammis Awards, including Best Alternative Pop and Composer of the Year, as well as several Norwegian Spellemann Awards.
Refinement – If you’re looking for examples of this, Ane Brun’s musical journey is a textbook case. When the Norwegian artist made her debut about 20 years ago with the critically acclaimed debut album *Spending Time With Morgan*, she was undoubtedly a talented interpreter of raw, acoustic indie-folk. Today, Ane Brun has moved far beyond both genres and labels. She has boldly ventured into orchestral pop, electronic experiments, and heart-wrenching interpretations, always with unfiltered authenticity and a striking uncompromising spirit. This has made her one of the most acclaimed artists in all of Scandinavia.
