“Because we’re stronger than we think,” says Christine. “And stranger and funnier. We can find strength and adventure everywhere—even locked up in a small hospital room for months on end. It’s surprisingly fun there, too. At least if you’re with Christine.”
Christine Koht has received the greatest gift anyone can get—life itself! Now she wants to give back all the energy and joy she can.
“This show is my tribute to all of you in the healthcare system,” says Christine. “It’s a colorful revival meeting, filled with humor, warmth, and gratitude. After all, I’ve received the greatest gift anyone can receive—life itself. Many people think I survived because of my good spirits, and that’s nice to hear. But it was mostly thanks to incredibly impressive medical care.”
This is what I dreamed of when I was confined to a small, beige hospital room for 16 months—to be able to come back and say thank you! And there’s no one I’d rather thank and honor than you. There’s a lot that’s gloomy and dark these days. So if there’s one thing we need right now, it’s Koht, hope, and joy. I can promise you an unforgettable experience in the darkness of fall.
