BJØRN EIDSVÅG AND BJARTE TJØSTHEIM ON TOUR – LAUGHTER, MUSIC, AND A TOUCH OF GRACE

Two of Norway’s most beloved artists, Bjørn Eidsvåg and Bjarte Tjøstheim, are joining forces for a very special tour. With a unique combination of warmth, humor, and musical talent, they invite the audience to an evening filled with laughter, wonder, and reflection.
Eidsvåg and Tjøstheim have known each other for many years. They’ve joked and fooled around together on Radioresepsjonen, and Bjørn has appeared on Bjarte’s TV series Presten, where he played, among other things, a slightly tipsy version of himself.
Now they’re combining their energy, wit, and what little wisdom they have in a joint performance. There will be jokes and banter, but also an attempt to reflect on questions big and small—they’re good at wondering. Both have a church background, both have experienced faith and doubt, and both know what it’s like to fall short. They are both tough and tender, and not least good at passing merciless judgment on themselves. At the same time, they are searching for grace—for someone who can accept them as they are.
The audience can expect a performance filled with laughter, music, and reflection. Eidsvåg’s eminent band will provide musical depth, and Tjøstheim will also contribute his rhythmic skills. Whether it will be uplifting and soul-stirring remains to be seen. But it definitely won’t be boring—the show is too short for that.

“In the fall of 2025, we performed 38 shows with Bjørn & Bjarte, the tough one and the tender one. We’ve taken a break, but we’re almost ready for another round. This is one of the coolest things I’ve done in my career. Sharing the stage with Bjarte Tjøstheim is a joy. I cry and laugh during every performance. Now I’m super ready to keep doing this through 2026.”
