Welcome to Summer at Kilden

When the regular theater, cultural, and classical programs take a summer break, life at Kilden continues. Every summer, we keep our doors open with lobby concerts, theater performances, drawing tables for the little ones, music quizzes, and more.

Feel free to stop by Restaurant Frihavn, where you can enjoy good food and drinks on the cozy outdoor patio.

The Wild Duck by Henrik Ibsen

Following sold-out performances in London and Bergen, Henrik Ibsen’s *The Wild Duck* is finally coming to Kristiansand! This brand-new production is performed in Norwegian with English surtitles, featuring an ensemble of some of Norway’s most acclaimed actors, and directed by Hedda Award winner Alan Lucien Øyen.

Free lobby concerts

Starting June 25, free concerts will be held in the lobby on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. See the program further down the page.

DJ Monty

DJ, music quiz, great atmosphere, and summer fun! On July 7 and 8, DJ Monty—the character from the hit show *Saturday Night Fever*—will once again fill Kilden catchy beats. Bring your family, friends, and a good mood! The event is free and open to everyone.
