Susie Wang Returns to Kilden

The critically acclaimed performing arts group Susie Wang is returning to Kilden! From May 29 to June 4, Susie Wang’s strange world will once again take center stage at Kilden.

Following last year’s success with*Licht Und Liebe*, the play*Burnt Toast*isnowbeingstaged, this time in a co-production with Kilden .

“We’re thrilled that Susie Wang is returning to Kilden performing arts centre this year, and we’re confident that the audience will have an unforgettable experience with us after Easter,” says Daniel Stamnes of Kilden .

HORROR ELEMENTS

Susie Wang often incorporates horror elements into her productions. According to Aftenposten,*Burnt Toast*is“…something as rare as existential B-movie splatter theater for adults.”

Susie Wang was founded in 2017 by Trine Falch, Martin Langlie, Mona Solhaug, and Bo Krister Wallström, and creates theater that takes fiction seriously and works in tandem with dreams, hallucinations, and fantasies. 

CO-PRODUCTION

The play*Licht Und Liebe*, a co-production between Kilden and Susie Wang that premiered in October 2020, was nominated for the Ibsen Award in March 2021.
