- All the pieces do something to you. Whether it entertains or provokes. It helps to enrich your life," says Laurits Hvidevoll.

He and his friend Lene Hartveit have both had the Kilden Theatre Card for many years, and have experienced all of Kilden Theatre's productions in recent years.

- "The quality of the plays is incredibly high, especially in recent years. The program is diverse, the stage design is impressive, and I think the ensemble right now is incredibly exciting," Lene explains.

Pays off

They both live in central Kristiansand and work in the service industry. Before they got Teaterkortet, they enjoyed Kilden several times a year, but when they discovered that it would be worthwhile to buy Teaterkortet after only two performances per year, the choice was easy. Since then, they have been regular holders of the Theater Card, which includes tickets to all of Kilden Theatre's performances over the course of a year.

- Since we have the Theatre Card, we go to all the plays, including those we might not have prioritized if we didn't have the Theatre Card. It's broadened our horizons, and our interest in the performing arts has also increased. Now we want to see everything," says Laurits.

Lene adds that the theater salons and the extra events held for theater card holders have made the experiences even richer.

- Being able to go inside and learn more about the productions has added a whole new dimension to the plays, she explains.

The good friends also say that having Teaterkort as a friend means that they always have a fixed meeting point, and that there is never too much time between each time they see each other. Now they hope even more people will open their eyes to Teaterkortet.

- "To see so much good theater at that price - then I think "wake up people" says Lene smiling.
