Håkon Berge

Håkon Berge is a Norwegian composer, conductor, arranger, and music administrator. He studied at the Rogaland Conservatory of Music and the Norwegian Academy of Music.  

As a freelancer, Berge has served as music director, composer, and conductor at all of Norway’s major institutional theaters and has written music for over 70 productions. In addition to his work in theater, Berge has received commissions from the Norwegian Society of Composers, the Norwegian Authors’ Union, the Ultima Oslo Contemporary Music Festival, NRK, and the Norwegian Opera.  

From April 2009 to April 2013, Berge served as music director of the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra.
