Irene Ingebretsen

Irene Ingebretsen is from Kristiansand and studied dance at the Bårdar Academy in 2012, and modern and contemporary dance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London in 2016.

Irene works in the independent performing arts scene in Kristiansand and has experience as a performer in productions such as*Bestialiteten i Butoh*by Tove-Elena Nicholaysen,*Økohelter*by STICKY, and in her own productions, for which she also serves as choreographer:*Meg og Mormor*and*ASSEMBLY*. The latter was choreographed in collaboration with Ingvild Marstein Olsen and Olivia Edginton, and will be presented at Lørsdagskilden on March 1, 2025.

She has choreographed and performed in several of SPEKTRA’s productions, including*Helix: The Hanging Garden* and*The Lament*.

Her own dance company is called BeRik Dans.

With*The Lament*in 2025, Irene will be making her fourth appearance as a dancer at Kilden over the past two years.
