Nadia Liv Mandrup isis from Copenhagen but lives and works in Kristiansand as a textile artist and designer, taking on freelance commissions for various performing artists, in addition to her own production of art and clothing under the name Miss Fit Couture.
She graduated with a degree in design technology from Hellerup Textile College in 2003. She has worked in various fields, including as a patternmaker, tailor, designer, and shoemaker. She has also studied textile art at institutions such as Chelsea College and Central Saint Martins in London. In Copenhagen, she had her own studio and gallery, and worked for a time at the Royal Danish Theatre. She also participated in several fashion shows, including during Copenhagen Fashion Week. Since 2012, she has been a permanent employee atperforming arts centre Kilden performing arts centre a prop maker and head of the dyeing workshop. Sheherazade—and the story that lasted 1,001 nights —becomes her first costume design for Kilden .
