Stina Riebe Thygesen
Storytelling Instructor
Stina Riebe Thygesen is a freelance performing artist and director.
She holds a master’s degree in Aesthetic Studies, with a specialization in Drama and Theater Communication, from OsloMet, where she focused on the art of oral storytelling and personal narratives as a performing arts phenomenon. Since 2015, Stina has helped run StorySLAM Oslo, a storytelling competition where participants share true, firsthand stories with a live audience. In 2019, she moved to Kristiansand, where she has worked as a stage manager at Kilden the production Kristiansand.Nå. and as a festival coordinator during the Assitej Artistic Gathering 2019. She also leads workshops on oral storytelling and personal narratives at the Arkivet Peace and Human Rights Center as part of the diversity and dialogue project BE HEARD!
In the winter of 2021, she began working as an Event Manager at Kristiansand Zoo, and in the spring of 2022, she is directing the storytelling performance *The Story of Mary in the Quran* at Kilden.
