MNOZIL BRASS – celebrating its 30th anniversary!

Imagine seven virtuoso musicians who combine masterful playing with flawless theater, precise timing, and wild humor—that’s Mnozil Brass. They are Austria’s most legendary brass ensemble, beloved around the world for their spectacular performances where musical perfection meets Monty Python-esque absurdity.

Since its beginnings in a small tavern in Vienna’s First District in the 1990s, Mnozil Brass has transformed its musical gatherings into full-scale performing arts. They play everything—from classical masterpieces and opera to pop, jazz, and folk music—and do so with effortless virtuosity, without sheet music, with a passion and precision that leaves even the most discerning music lover speechless.

But it’s not just the music that captivates. Each performance is meticulously directed, filled with theatrical humor, body language, and situational comedy—as if Chaplin met Mahler in a musical fireworks display. Their stage presence and chemistry are so intense that the audience alternates between laughter, goosebumps, and standing ovations.

“The Vienna Philharmonic meets Monty Python.” – The Times
“Incredible musicality combined with world-class comedy.” – NRK
“You leave with a silly grin and the feeling that music can be absolutely anything.” – from the audience

For over 30 years, Mnozil Brass has performed to sold-out venues around the world—from London’s Royal Albert Hall to opera houses in Berlin, Moscow, and Vienna. Their artistic caliber is exceptional, but just as important is their warm self-deprecating humor and their down-to-earth charm.

As they celebrate 30 years on stage, they’re doing so with an anniversary show that captures everything that has made them an international cult favorite: brilliant music, impeccable precision, and a sense of humor that brings the entire audience to life.

Welcome to an evening you’ll never forget.
