☀️ Sun, rain, wind, snow, and thunder—what does the weather actually sound like?
Everyone knows that the weather in Norway can be pretty unpredictable. One moment the sun is shining, the next it’s pouring rain—and suddenly there might be wind, snow, and thunder all at once!
In *Vær på ville veier*, four musicians from the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra invite children to a playful and fun concert where the weather calls the shots.
What does rain sound like on a violin? Can a cello make thunder? And can we create a real storm together?
We’ll hear music by Vivaldi, Grieg, Strauss, Schubert, and others, mixed with well-known children’s songs such as “Little Peter Spider,” “It’s Snowing, It’s Snowing,” “All the Birds,” and “Summer Is Coming.”
“Out on the Wild Roads” is an intimate and fun concert experience created especially for children.

This “Vær på ville veier” concert is part of Kilden’s Relæxt program, which offers an accessible setting designed to make it easier for more people to participate.
Here, you're allowed to talk loudly, laugh, cry, sniffle, and shout, and go in and out of the auditorium as often as you like.
Relæxt is a no-shushing zone.
The concert itself is not organized; this only applies to the surrounding events, and everyone is warmly welcome to join us.
