Skeive Sørlandsdager and Kilden

Uncategorized

Welcome to Skeive Sørlandsdager

Skeive Sørlandsdager is about to kick off in Kristiansand. Everything is set for a colorful celebration of love, diversity, and community in the city’s streets—a celebration that may feel more important than it has in a long time.

Kilden the occasion with a diverse and inclusive program, featuring stand-up comedy, book talks, a drag show, a DJ, and, of course, participation in the parade.

One of the biggest draws of the program is TV personality and stand-up comedian Adam Schjølberg. In his latest solo show, he asks: Why is it so hard to just be happy? After settling down with his partner, he has found peace—but why is it so easy to sabotage it? Schjølberg is known as a sharp voice in the public sphere, and the audience can expect a show with both bite and edge.

Saturday’s parade ends outside Kilden, marking the start of the evening’s festivities. The procession, brimming with glitter, colors, and energy, concludes beneath the Wave Wall. Here, there will be speeches, refreshments, and a great atmosphere before DJ Baby Dyke—presented in collaboration with Karmaklubb*—turns up the tempo and invites everyone to dance outside the region’s main venue.

For those looking for a more relaxed experience, we invite you to a book talk with author Gudmund Vindland. Vindland visited Kilden connection with the play *Villskudd* a few years ago, and is now in the spotlight with *Lystseilas – mot finere strøk*, his first book in 20 years. The conversation will be moderated by Eirik Langås Jørgensen.

Frida Marida, a Lebanese-Norwegian artist and winner of Drag of the Year 2023, will also take the stage Kilden the festival. Friday’s performance takes the audience on a personal, playful, and moving journey through themes such as trans identity, censorship, migration, and freedom—presented in a pop-inspired, multilingual style. The show is suitable for all ages.

Welcome to Kilden, and happy Pride.
