Kilden Harald Furre's contract through 2031
It was announced today that Kilden performing arts centre CEO Harald Furre’s term until 2031. Board Chair Grete Faremo is very pleased with the decision.
“We are very pleased to have this in place now. Harald has done an excellent job forperforming arts centre Kilden performing arts centre his first term, and the board looks forward to continuing to work with him,” says Faremo.
The chair of the board says that it has been important for the board to help ensure predictability for employees by addressing the issue of fixed-term contracts six months before they were originally set to expire.
Tor Anders Aadalen, an employee representative on Kilden’s board and one of the union representatives for the Creo trade union, is pleased that Furre will remain Kilden’s top executive for the foreseeable future.

“Harald is a well-liked leader among the staff at Kilden. He is a respectful leader who values his employees and has also proven himself to be fair and steadfast even in difficult situations, such as during last year’s downsizing process. This is good news, and I think many of those who work at Kilden welcome this very warmly,” says Aadalen.
Harald Furre took office as executive director ofperforming arts centre Kilden performing arts centre April 2020, with a fixed-term contract that was set to run through April 2025. He has now signed an extension of his contract through 2031.
