This concert offers young musical talents a unique opportunity to perform with the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra. Through a collaboration between the Agder Music Council, the Municipality of Arendal, the Norwegian Council for Cultural Schools in Agder, the University of Agder (UiA), the Risør Chamber Music Festival, and the KSO, the winners of “Young Classical” get the chance to shine as soloists. This year’s soloists are Panagiotis Grivas (clarinet) and Theodor Bugge Jonssen (marimba).
In addition, school students will perform music based on their own creative compositions, selected by professional composers through the Skapia program. An evening filled with talent, inspiration, and new music.
