After six successful years of “The Valen Sails Again, ” the voyage has come to an end—and this October, Valen invites you to its sixth full-length production: “Bare VisVas.” Here, he opens the doors to a star-studded artist gala, where both Norwegian and international celebrities appear in Valen’s well-known universe. Stoltenberg, Brauten—and several of his immortal characters—make long-awaited returns, this time in a whole new guise.
Since his breakthrough in 2003, Kristian Valen has established himself as one of Norway’s most popular comedians and impersonators. His shows have filled cultural centers across the country, his TV series have been watched by millions, and his DVD releases have sold nearly half a million copies. On his last three tours, over 90% of the performances were sold out—and one in three venues had to add extra shows.
