Under Bojan Videnoff’s baton, the concert opens with Elgar’s warm and elegant Serenade for Strings
before we are led into Schubert’s bright and clear Symphony No. 5.
Next comes the highlight of the evening: Beethoven’s First Piano Concerto with Martha Argerich,
one of the great legends of our time—a pianist who, with her energy, authority, and incomparable virtuosity
has shaped the music world for decades.
Together, Videnoff, Argerich, and the orchestra create an evening that unites classical elegance and pure piano magic.
The concert will be repeated on Thursday evening at the Stavanger Concert Hall.
