Welcome to the Schubertiade!
We invite you to an intimate and beautiful concert dedicated to Franz Schubert’s most beloved music for violin and piano. The term “schubertiade” originates from the composer’s own musical gatherings for and with close friends, who would gather in private living rooms to share art, poetry, and brand-new music. It is precisely this intimate, informal, and lively atmosphere that we wish to recreate for you at this very Schubertiade.

There is scarcely a composer who can capture the vulnerability and beauty of life in a single melody the way Franz Schubert could. The first part of the program offers an intimate, youthful, Mozart-like elegance, in contrast to the “Grand Duo,” the evening’s main work, which shows us Schubert at his most passionate and mature.
