Thomas Dybdahl is considered one of the country’s very best artists, and through a series of beautiful, timeless, and solid albums, he has long since secured his place among Norway’s most prominent artists and songwriters.

Dybdahl made his debut as a solo artistwith *That Great October Sound*, and won the Spellemann Award for his work. Since then, he has released further critically acclaimed albums, includingStray Dogs, One Day You’ll Dance For Me New York City,Science, andWhat’s Left Is Forever, whichevenearneda Grammy nomination.

2025 was a particularly strong year for Dybdahl, with extensive touring and a series of concerts that were awarded a 6 out of 6 rating by critics across the country. Live, he has cemented his position as one of Norway’s strongest performers—intimate, soulful, and technically brilliant, with an audience spanning generations.

His previous album release wasthe beautiful Teenage Astronauts. Here he collaborated with Grammy winner Larry Klein, legendary arranger Vince Mendoza, the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, and lyricist Edie Kuhnle Ottestad. The result was an ambitious and magnificent project that clearly demonstrates that Dybdahl remains curious, uncompromising, and in constant artistic evolution.

At the same time, he is currently working on the follow-up tothe2020album Fever. The first taste came in the fall of 2025 withthe single “Let Me Love You”—a song that has already become a live favorite and therefore taken a central place in the concert set, clearly pointing toward the next chapter in Dybdahl’s career.

The next single is set for May 2026, and an EP featuring several new songs is scheduled for September 2026.
