Kristiansand Symfoniorkester, under ledelse av sjefdirigent Julian Rachlin, inviterer kvalifiserte kandidater til å søke på stillingen som solocellist.
Den som ansettes vil arbeide tett sammen med den andre solocellisten. De to stillingene er likestilte og deler ansvaret for 1. og 2. pult på lik basis (50/50). Stillingen innebærer også funksjon som gruppeleder.
Vi søker en orkestermusiker som ønsker å investere i og aktivt bidra til orkesterets interne liv og videre kunstneriske utvikling. Arbeidsspråket er norsk, og det er ønskelig at søkerne behersker engelsk og/eller et skandinavisk språk.

Prøvespillingsprosessen omfatter inntil tre ukers prøvespill/prøveperiode i orkesteret, samt eventuelt en kammermusikkrunde.

Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, under the leadership of Chief Conductor Julian Rachlin, invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Solo Cello.
The successful candidate will work closely with the other solo cellist, as the two positions are equal and share the 1st and 2nd chair responsibilities on a 50/50 basis. The position also includes serving as group leader.
We are looking for an orchestra musician who is willing to invest in and actively contribute to our orchestra’s inner life and its continued artistic development. The working language is Norwegian, and it is preferred that the applicants have command of either English and/or a Scandinavian language.

The employment process includes an interview.
The audition process includes up to three weeks trial in the orchestra, and a possible chamber music round.
