Green Carnation will celebrate their epic album trilogy *A DARK POEM* with a once-in-a-lifetime 3-hour show featuring all three albums performed in their entirety, alongside numerous guest artists and the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra on stage!
The event will mark their return to the main hall at Kilden Arts Center in the band’s hometown of Kristiansand, Norway, where they performed the triumphant final show of their comeback year in 2016, presenting their legendary album *Light of Day, Day of Darkness* to a sold-out crowd consisting of people from 14 different countries.
No matter how long or where their journey has taken them, Green Carnation have always sought to scale the highest peaks. Founded by Emperor’s former bassist Tchort in the early ’90s, the Norwegian band quickly built a cult following while blazing their own trail through the realms of symphonic doom, hard rock, acoustic guitar, and progressive metal.
Had they never returned from their hiatus in the mid-2000s, the band would have been remembered for creating one of the most ambitious individual epics in metal’s storied history. And yet, one mighty tale—or three, to be exact—continued to elude them. That is, until now. Two decades after its initial conception, Green Carnation have finally completed their masterpiece: *A Dark Poem*.
