Askil Holm 25th Anniversary Concert
In 2026, Askil Holm will celebrate 25 years as a songwriter and artist, and invites you to an anniversary concert atperforming arts centre Kilden performing arts centre. With his concert series Songbok, he takes the audience on a musical journey through a quarter-century of songwriting, production, and artist collaborations, tours, and album releases that have left their mark on Norwegian popular music in the Vol. 3 edition.
Askil Holm (born June 1, 1980) is a Spellemann Prize-winning artist, musician, songwriter, and record producer from Namsos, currently living in Southern Norway. He started early and became nationally known as a teenager when his band Attack won NRK’s “Under 17” competition in 1995. After spending his formative years in bands such as Deadweight, he broke through as a solo artist with the EP *The Boy with the Boomerang* (2001) and the album *Daydream Receiver* (2003). The song “Seven Days in the Sun” found its way into both films and commercials, and his performance at by:Larm in Kristiansand in 2002 became a turning point.
Many people remember Holm as a member of the supergroup Lind, Nilsen, Fuentes & Holm, which filled concert halls across the country in 2006, 2009, and 2019 with their renditions of their own songs and those of other artists. Together, they won the Spellemann Award for “Hit of the Year” for their version of “Hallelujah.”

His songwriting universe, which also includes collaborations with Martin Hagfors and Jon Niklas Rønning, combines a flair for melody, lyrical depth, and a strong connection to Norwegian and English lyrics.
Songbok – Vol. 3 will not just be a concert—it will be a celebration of a life in music, featuring songs from throughout his career, stories from his life as a songwriter and artist, and an outstanding band in top form. The audience can expect both familiar songs, personal favorites, and musical surprises from an artist who has been a fixture in Norway’s music scene for 25 years—and who is still “right in the middle of the beginning of life.”
