Welcome to an active, creative, and unique storytelling session!

Storyteller, mindfulness instructor, and children’s yoga teacher Helene Knutsen takes the children on A Living Adventure. Helene’s storytelling sessions offer a varied program where young and old alike get to PLAY out the stories and bring them to LIFE. By using our senses, our bodies, our imagination, and even our breath, Helene invites adults and children to experience presence and mindfulness.

A Living Adventure offers a combination of music, dance, sensory exercises, movement, reading aloud from children’s books, and relaxation exercises, inviting young and old alike to take a small step out of the everyday and into the world of adventure.

Artist info – Helene Knutsen

Helene Knutsen is a storytelling artist, mindfulness instructor, and children’s yoga teacher, and is the creator of the concept A Living Fairy Tale. Since 2018, she has created inclusive and sensory storytelling sessions for children and families, where stories are brought to life through movement, music, play, and active participation. With around 130 events and nearly 10,000 attendees, she has delighted audiences of all ages at libraries, cultural centers, and other venues in Southern Norway, and she is now looking forward to visitingperforming arts centre Kilden performing arts centre the first time.
