In recent years, Eva Weel Skram has established a beloved Christmas tradition with her atmospheric Christmas concerts. With a heartwarming mix of her own songs and well-known Christmas favorites, she invites the audience into a musical world where both traditional and modern Christmas tunes shine.
It has been nearly ten years since Eva released her first Christmas song, and since then, several of her songs have found their way into the modern Norwegian Christmas canon. “Selma’s Song,” the theme song from the NRK series Snøfall, quickly became a fan favorite. Later came “Falle til ro,” written for the Netflix series Hjem til jul, which has also established itself as a new Christmas classic.
Eva has also made a name for herself as an outstanding interpreter of other artists’ songs. In her hands, songs like “Nå tennes tusen julelys” and “Romjulsdrøm” are given new life. The Christmas classic “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” has also been given a Norwegian twist as “Tid med mjuke pakkar,” with new lyrics by Trygve Skaug.
Together with her musical companions, Eva Weel Skram creates a warm and intimate Christmas experience—filled with infectious cheer, beautiful melodies, and the true spirit of Christmas.
Welcome to the Christmas concert.
