The source, “ performing arts centre’s” fall campaign , “From Bank Collapse to Struggle! ”, takes as its starting point the bank collapse in Arendal in 1886 and the founding of the Norwegian Labor Party the following year.
In collaboration with KUBEN, we invite you to a pre-performance talk in which historian Håkon Haugland and Kilden’s communications advisor Mikal Vassbotn will explore the dramatic history behind the production.
How could a local bank failure escalate into one of Norway’s biggest economic crises—and help shape Norwegian politics?
