National Audition for String Players 2018

Henning Kraggerud, Artist in Residence 2018/2019. He is one of Norway’s foremost musicians, a soloist of the highest international caliber, and an exciting composer, chamber musician, and educator.
JULIAN RACHLIN, 1ST GUEST CONDUCTOR
Julian Rachlin will serve as principal guest conductor of the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra during the 2018–2019 season. He is regarded as one of the world’s foremost violinists and, since 1998, has also built an increasingly successful career as a conductor.

French conductor Nathalie Stutzmann has been appointed as the new music director of the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra for a three-year term. She succeeds Giordano Bellincampi and will take up her post in the fall of 2018.
