Sparebanken Norge is giving away tickets
From the bench to the game!
Kilden Teater’s major production this fall is the play “From the Stool to the Struggle!” This production has been made possible by a donation from Sparebanken Norge, which is giving away tickets to two performances: September 15 and 16 (maximum two per household). There’s even a free bus from Arendal to Kristiansand to make the show even more accessible. It’s first come, first served, so act fast if you want to attend this fall’s major production about Arendal’s local history!

Artists must be given a more prominent role in schools
Screen time among children is decreasing. That’s good news. But less screen time doesn’t automatically lead to more play, reading, social interaction, or creative activities. If all children are to have access to experiences that build concentration and a sense of mastery, artists must be given a more prominent role in schools.
Strong Interest in Interdisciplinary Arts Program at Kilden
The 250 applicants have now been narrowed down to 25. This week, we invited 25 of the applicants to participate in a two-day workshop at Kilden.

Former municipal physician Dagfinn Harr and his wife, Bente Knudsen, have realized that they have become dependent on KSO.
Dance at Kilden
Kilden to expand its dance program, with one of its goals being to establish its own dance ensemble. As part of this process, Tone Kittelsen, Julie Rasmussen, and Irene Theisen have been invited to serve as consultants and have offered suggestions for the ensemble’s initial programming.
