Paal-Helge Haugen on the world premiere of the novel *Anne*
Paal-Helge Haugen’s novel *Anne* was published in 1968 and is considered a modern classic of Norwegian literature. It is now being staged for the first time, with the premiere set for May 6. We sat down for a chat with the author.
More than 10,000 people watched Heimanifrå!
A total of 10,156 people saw Kilden major production about emigration from Agder to America in the 1950s and 1960s. This is the highest attendance since *De Stundesløse* drew more than 12,000 people to its season premiere back in 2013.
Andrea Bocelli is coming to Kristiansand in June
We are delighted to announce that one of the world’s most famous tenors, Andrea Bocelli, will perform with the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra at Bystranda in Kristiansand on June 29. The concert will be one of the highlights of Kilden’s 10th-anniversary celebrations in 2022.

This May, we’ll be premiering the play *Anne* at Kilden, a musical adaptation of Paal-Helge Haugen’s “dot novel” of the same name. Haugen himself coined the term “dot novel,” which has since become part of literary studies. But what does the term actually mean?
